For example, an experienced developer from Chief led the renewal of the back end of a price comparison site. Price and product updates used to take hours, sometimes days. The goal was under an hour, and the result was ten minutes per cycle. The new back end scales automatically with peaks in load.
Sometimes software doesn't stop at the screen. Chief also designs hardware, writes the firmware and builds the platform that processes the data. That saves coordination between suppliers, because one team oversees the whole thing.
For example, we built a measurement platform for parking, noise and air quality. Users work in a web application with maps and dashboards, and residents view public maps without an account. We are also designing an in-road sensor, from electronics and housing to firmware. One design measures both parking occupancy and passing traffic. The sensor is still in development. Our office is on Atoomweg in Utrecht. Along the A28 we can usually be in Amersfoort within half an hour. We do most of our work from our own office and come to you when it helps: for an introduction, a workshop with your team or a day of building together.
