Software that drives the floor
Chief developed the software that runs the interactive games on the LED floors. It drives the light tiles, registers where players are standing and works on different types of LED floors. Games are not tied to a single installation, and new game rules and levels are easy to add.
Controls for players and operators
For players, Chief built an interface where they pick a game, an avatar and a difficulty level, and see their scores afterwards. A second screen shows the score, remaining lives and remaining time during play. Operators use a settings page to configure the theme, the language and the orientation of the floor, among other things.
Games, sound and online environment
Chief delivered The Floor Is Lava with ten levels across four difficulty levels, in which players collect coins while avoiding the lava, with matching soundtracks and sound effects. When nobody is playing, a standby mode keeps the floor eye-catching. Chief also built the marketing website and an online environment for Ledventure.
