QTY Digital

The client

QTY Digital, based in Zaltbommel, develops QTY Connect, a SaaS platform for virtual queues. Guests scan a QR code with their own phone and follow their order or their place in line without installing an app or creating an account. WhatsApp, text message and email are among the ways they hear when it is their turn. Businesses use it to improve their service and to keep guests informed while they wait.

01 · Project objectives

One steady partner, ready for new countries and languages

A dedicated technology partner

The first version of QTY Connect was built in 2023 and 2024. QTY Digital then needed a long-term partner to take over the platform, run it and develop it further. In autumn 2025 Chief took on that role, with full technical responsibility for the platform.

Keeping pace with new locations

QTY Connect is linked to the ordering kiosks where guests order and pay. After payment, the kiosk shows a QR code that opens the guest's digital pager. Every new venue or customer needs its own queue with the right language, look and message flow. QTY Digital wanted to bring new locations online quickly, in the Netherlands and abroad, including venues that trade under their own brand.

Serving guests in their own language

With QTY Digital's customers opening venues beyond the Netherlands and Germany, QTY Connect had to serve guests in more languages. The language set for a location also had to decide which language the page opens in when a guest scans the QR code.

02 · Implementation

Platform taken over, queues set up and Spanish added

Takeover and technical management

Chief took over the platform from its original developer, including management of its technical environment. Chief also manages the message flows, which define for each customer the messages a guest sees at every stage of their order. On top of that, Chief keeps the platform's software up to date.

New locations and own brands

Chief sets up queues for new venues on behalf of QTY Digital, including locations of indoor playground chain Monkey Town in the Netherlands, Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom. For venues that trade under their own brand, Chief created separate message flows with their own imagery. For a new customer, Chief set up a dedicated queue ahead of time, so kiosk installation could start while the branding was still being worked out.

Spanish language support

The guest web app was already available in Dutch, English and German. Chief added Spanish to the platform, and the Monkey Town message flow now includes Spanish texts. The page a guest sees after scanning now opens by default in the language set for the location.

03 · Results and benefits

New venues live quickly, in the right language

One point of contact

QTY Digital now has a single partner for development and operations. New features, such as Spanish language support, reach customers reliably and without surprises.

Ready for international growth

Guests see the queue page in the language of their location, now including Spanish. Language and country are set per location, so QTY Connect can grow with customers entering new countries without a separate solution for each market.

New venues connected quickly

Each new venue gets its own queue and message flow, which are then put into use at the venue's ordering kiosks. Venues with their own brand keep their own look, and new customers can start using QTY Connect at short notice.

The outcome

With Chief as its one technical partner for QTY Connect, QTY Digital connects new venues quickly and serves guests in their own language, ready to grow with customers entering new countries.
